Galoots, as has been mentioned, are self styled hand woodworkers. The Oldtools Mailing list is without doubt the friendliest, best mannered place on the internet. Discussion is strictly about the use and reconditioning of old tools, and the very word el*ctic*ty is never mentioned. A world wide culture based on sympathetic and skillful use of craft skill has to be A Good Thing. Here are links to some Galoot websites, and other resources, which may not be members of the Oldtools Newsgroup, but demonstrate similar inclinations.
